For my wonderful Mum, this horrific disease took just 3 years to take you away from your family. Time does not heal, it allows some days to be normal, but grief never leaves you. It will tap you on the shoulder at the most bizarre times. You cannot fight it, it will always win. I will continue the fight so a day may come that someone never has to experience this gut wrenching death penalty. Until the day comes that I can hug you again, I will treasure the memories and keep you alive in your families thoughts. Sleep tight my best friend and Mummy. xx
