To my loving husband James who spent many years with this cruel, devastating disease. He was a wonderful man who never complained. He was accepting, appreciative of everyone who helped him. Everyone loved him. Even at the end he had some quality of life left. He loved listening to music and knew who I was and what we meant to each other. I am thankful that I was able to have him at home with me and thankful for all the carers who made that possible. The time was right for him. I consider myself privileged to have been his wife and shall always treasure the time we shared together
