In Memoriam of Ian Gardiner

17/04/2020

My Dearest Ian, I’m sure you’re at peace now. Never Forgotten. I think of things You used to Say, and all the things you would do At some point, every single day, My thoughts will turn to you. To lose you was a bitter wrench, the pain cut to my core. I cried until my tears ran out and then I cried some more. This wouldn’t be you wish for me that I’m forever sad So I try to remind myself of the happy times we had. I know I can’t be with you now and you can’t be with me But safe inside my heart you’ll stay and that’s where you’ll always be. All my love for ever Biz, Alan, Christopher, Dennis, Derek and all the extended family xxI will never forget your family stories and fond, wry smiles Ian. And we remember how these words brought a tear to your eye . . . “Then let us pray that come it may, (As come it will for a’ that,) . . . That Man to Man, the world o’er, Shall brothers be for a’ that.” We miss you. Love from Christine and Grant and family. xxx
