n loving memory of our wonderful Mum, Elizabeth O’Shea. Mum was widower aged 36 and raised four children with the love, strength and tenacity that she showed throughout her life. Mum was an extremely kind and giving person with a devilish sense of humour and a love for Irish/Country music and dancing. Did she love to dance and would usually be the first up and the last to finish! Diagnosed two years ago with Lewy Body Dementia, this type of Dementia was not known to our family but we learned to adapt to Mum’s illness and other ailments she endured bravely during her final years before passing away at home on 15th July 2023. Dementia gradually took away most of Mum’s cognitive ability but we knew when she still had some good days before her passing from this dreadful disease. Donations and awareness of DLB will be provided at Mum’s funeral. You have left us Mum and sorrow fills our heart, but we are comforted in our grief with the memory of your smiles, songs, care and love that you gave us all during your life.
